Wellwood United Free Church stood in Glasgow Road.

This building has believed to have opened as a place of Christian worship in 1845 with the church , closing in 1949

For many years the building was used as the church hall for Muirkirk Parish Church.

This building can still be seen and in recent years has been privately owned.
